Okay, my self-imposed only positive Edwards posts in GDP IS OFFICIALLY OVER!

I'm going back to the pugilist I am, courtesy of being a plaintiff's Trail lawyer, like John.

Hillery Shillery is a "known, known". Obama and his cadre of cultist pleaders are officially on the take no prisoners, give no quarter list in GDP. I am so absolutely miffed at the unending appeal to "bi-partsianship", read lefty-lite, that I cannot and will not sit idly by, as his supporters, without thought, continue to laud him, even when they should just hide in embarrassment.

But, thats the greatest thing about Cognitive Dissonance. It allows you to avoid all those nagging issues which reflect so poorly on your candidate, that it would force you to confront the TRUTH of his expedient pandering. It allows you to laud Reagan, without seeing the absurdity of that action.

Good grief, how far will these people sink?

1. Yeah, I know how you feel. I've tried to be nice. I've ignored posts

and posters. I've endured the "OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA GOBAMA" shit, I've looked the other way when people talked about John's house, his voting record, etc., and after a while you just have to decide if it's worth fighting for or not.

Yes, it is worth fighting for.

You have to back them down with facts, which are easy to find if you spend a few minutes researching.

I don't agree with John about everything, but this bid for the Presidency is just too important for our nation, and despite everything, John is the only one running who has what it will take to fix this mess. So, you just have to keep after them.

I really just don't see the attraction to Barack at all. At least with Hillary, you know going into the deal what you're going to get. She does love her lobbyists, and she does pander. But it's that big dark hole surrounding Barack that bothers me most. What's in it? And do we want him in the White House when we find out?

I'm responding to the Obmaination in threads started by Edwards supporters or in their own paean pieces to Obama, Repub-lite.

This Country can't afford Repub-lite. Combine that with the bad taste in my mouth, each time I see an Obama apologist ( whose names I know by rote now ), and I am sickened to my core.

If I see one more Frenchie "kewl", I'm going to lose it!

Fight, folks, but let's fight smart, eh?

When you take on one of those obnoxious ones, remember that you have a big audience watching and they are all potential Edwards converts.

We have the high moral ground, we have the strong message, we have much more solidarity than the supporters of the other candidates, we are loose and have nothing to lose and everything to gain, and we are in it for the long haul. Long after they are all done with their hero worship, no matter what happens in the campaign, we will be moving forward. What Edwards started cannot be stopped now.

Steady as she goes, just keep taking solid steps forward, relentlessly, persistently, confidently.

It's useless convincing the haters and the liars. Instead, when responding/defending, let's talk DIRECTLY to those potential converts, reasonably, clearly, strongly and honestly. We DO have the high moral ground and a strong message. If we stay away from the ad hominum stuff while others are doing theirs (to paraphrase the "If" poems), we may just sway some of those potentials.

However, as John himself has demonstrated today, sometimes the gloves have to come off and I attack the message of Obama proponents, and it's weaknesses.

I try to force them to THINK, which is hard when you are merely a cultist who assimilates "talking points".

The Reagan paean by Obama, is, bluntly, a slap in the face to all liberals. REAL Liberals, that is.

Obama gave us an opening we can exploit. His true nature is slowly being revealed. Considering that I saw through his threadbare campaign of mere sloganeering from the start, I am offended by his candidacy, which is a mockery of true Democratic ideals. There is no place for quislings in our Party!

10. I'm trying to be very positive today.

Some of the Clinton/Obama supporters really get to me, too, but I try not to feed them. There are good supporters on both sides, too, we probably just don't notice them as much but I've seen quite a few who have been very supportive of Edwards.

I'm actually hoping that some of the C/O folks will participate in the JE fundraiser today. Who knows, maybe they'll be inspired by our efforts and kick in a few bucks for our guy. (I bet you all are starting to wonder what kind of drugs I'm on.)
