1. Something very strange is happening...
I don't begin to understand what's going on in the minds of the electorate right now. I fear for November...

2. Really disturbing
I still can't get over the result; it just doesn't make sense!

Ugh, what a sad day. I actually had a dream that Edwards won Nevada. I wish it were true. :(

5. Is it a coincidence that in the 2 contests where the polls were
wayyyy off, Hillary won? Just saying....It seems very odd.

10. Odd, but not odd. Not in the fraudulent atmosphere we

seem to be getting used to in this country. I hope somebody will finally, finally seriously address this issue before November. But somehow I doubt it.

:-(

4. I'm wondering the same thing myself.
How in the freak did Edwards drop over 20 percentage points in just a day or so?

Something's rotten in Denmark, I think.

6. Media blackout
Goes to the whole "If a tree falls in a forest thing" the media doesn't seem to want to notice Edwards, if he had gotten half the coverage after Iowa that he GOT in 2004 he would have walked away with Nevada.

7. II have already posted on some of this.read some of the KOS stories on
voter intimidation and Edwards supporters being misdirected. Something definwetly happened and it is not right. This was not "normal' by any stretch.Odd all the election conspiracy theorist were all over NH , which is a primary but something as freaky as this caucus, with witnesses describing what happened, one of them being Bill Clinton, and no one says "boo"?????????:

11. sounds like ct, but isn't
It sounds like a conspiracy theory to say that widespread suppression of the vote can happen, but it is not. I saw it in Michigan 4 years ago. The Kerry campaign had all of the right info to get their supporters to the caucus locations. The other campaigns were shut out from that info. The number of polling places was restricted, people had prohibitively long distances to travel, and thousands of people could not even find out where to go to vote. Meanwhile, Granholm, Levin and Stabenow (Michigan Governor and Senators) held press conferences the week of the primary - switched to be a "caucus" without notification to give the party leadership total control over the process - to give glowing endorsements to Kerry.

With a primary, people vote in their usual polling places and there is public notification about where and when the voting is going to happen. By declaring it to be a caucus, the party dramatically reduced the number of polling places - by factor of ten or more - and was exempted from any requirement to notify the public when and where to vote. Tens of thousands of people were disenfranchised.

12. I'm in Michigan, and I remember that well.
I never knew they changed it to a caucus. I went to my regular polling place to vote, and there was nothing there but a sign that gave the address of the new polling place. I drove around for about half an hour looking for the place and never found it. So I just went home.

9. And then to have Bill Clinton suggest election fraud,

really makes me wonder. Are the Clintons just as dirty as the Repukes were at stealing previous elections? I think it is possible. They have power, money, and connections on both sides of the aisle.

I too thought it was a 3-way tie according to polls. 5% sure ain't a 3-way tie. Very disturbing indeed. :banghead:
