2. I've noticed there are a lot of very new posters on DU
lately and they all seem to be attacking John. Some of the attacks are really scummy. I have ignored the lot of them, but it is really becoming intolerable. I'm not sure if they really support Clinton or Obama or are simply here to be disruptive. Who knows.

I suspect most of them will be gone before the elections.

3. Hi saracat!
I'm not new, and I'm not on the attack.
I'm just here to learn more about John.
I believe he is the best of the ones left.

4. Hi! caseycoon! Wecome. I am just talking about those new posters
whose first post is to attack John,There seem to be quite a few recently and I think it is very odd.And sickening. It always sets off alarm bells for me when the very first post someone makes is a vicious attack.

6. I know..
There has been a lot of that the last few days especially. You can hardly read a thread without it dissolving into 'attack & defend'
Anyway, I am here to learn more about Edwards. I picked him as my 2nd choice awhile back when DK was getting bumped from all the debates. I confess I would support DK to the death, but John is the only one left who will actually do things for the people.

5. Not that it means much
But it DOES say something about the desperation building as we head towards November. I just can't fathom that (with all the evidence out there that John bests any of the GOP possibles) folks can't see his potential!
"Plastic society"? Nah - it's WAY worse than that. :wtf:

7. Well, the fact is the average voter doesn't "know' these things.

The more they "know" John the more they like him. Obama and Clinton are "celebrity " candidates whose "media induced" fame is pushing them forward.Hillary still has a lot of momentum from being first lady and Obama is being promoted by the media a the "Black Challenger". It is truly amazing how many people are willing to throw their vote away on race or gender and vote as if this is American Idol. But hey, it is no mistake the FOX has conditioned the American voters to this level of stupidity.American Idol can be "fun" but it is dangerous to those who become conditioned by it, due to a lack of critical thinking skills. Some people can watch FOX news too and not be sucked in, but that isn't average.

8. Bleh... I got sick of them a while back...
I've been phonebanking for SC and just going by the very few voters I've actually managed to talk to, I'm encouraged. Still trying not to get my hopes up, but it's hard. :)

9. Just saw a good interview on MSNBC w/David Shuster....
....who's a fine defender of JRE, as far as keeping his name *alive*.....with a S.C. state rep and JE supporter, who said they are ignoring polls because they are distracting from the issues....GREAT REPORT!

What's funny, imho, about all the DU corporate polls, distract from Obama and Hillary's positions !? As in, I don't care who's ahead, I want to know why ?

Remember, less than 2% of the national voting public read political blogs, and half of those bother to register to respond! Also, even less watch cable news channels, and the poor, have no cable...or t.v.

Keep our eyes on the ball ! Go Team Go!
