Hopefully you don't mind my intruding here but I just wanted to say I was stunned this morning by the news that Senator Edwards is leaving the race.

I may not have agreed with you all of the time but you are passionate supporters of the man you believe in and I honor you for that. This must be hard for you and I sympathize. As a Clarkie, I've known the feeling twice, first when he dropped out last time and again when he endorsed Hillary meaning he would not run this time. Every time someone leaves the race, I get the same feeling in the pit of my stomach I felt those two times, although perhaps not as strongly. It's just not easy.

We are all Democrats and are all supposed to be on the same side and this morning my heart goes out to you, my fellow Dems.

I wish the best for John, Elizabeth and those adorable children of theirs....long and happy lives for them all.

Oh, and I must say, John did impress me in the last debate. it's too bad his voice will now not be a part of the race.

(I would have put this put there in GD:P but that place is so toxic these days, it's hard to stomach.)
