I posted this on Current, but wanted to post the link here. I am very sad about this, but hope Mr. Edwards will continue to be a loud voice for the middle class and forgotten ones in this country. It is a lousy stinking scenario, but one not devoid of all hope. And even though I am really through with supporting any candidate in the primary season or this political process, though I suppose we will once again have no choice but to vote for the Democrat if we want to avoid the Republican, I already know from supporting Al Gore's endeavors out here what good can come from going around this decrepid crappy system. And believe me, my heartbreak in 2000 and 2004 took a while to get over, but Al Gore is still here better than ever and so will John Edwards. Again as I stated in the primary folder earlier, it was a pleasure to post with all of you here in support of Mr. Edwards. You are all cordial, intelligent, and passionate... and we need that now. I hope to check back here to keep up with Mr. Edwards endeavors as well. Keep the faith.

Yet, your suggestion that John Edwards can do for us poor folk what Al Gore has done for "the climate crisis" -- well, I have to admit that it gives me tears of a teensy bit of hope!

Though I am likely to leave the Party after this election cycle, I am glad people like you will still be active. Good for you and I am sure you can use the much needed paycheck! I know I need to get one soon! Love you both to pieces!
