Some of what was being discussed is somewhat my "area," so I tried to help. So far, there's been a lot of inaccurate BS posted, IMO. Thank you for posting what you did. It needed to be addressed.

But the scary nature of this current era is the "subtlety" . it is just "accepted' opely as well as "promoted. And you are correct, I have seen similar posts regarding poverty.

My post however was just dealing with the sexism issue as DU had exploded in sexism over the Chelsea incident. Reading those posts and then hearing Bill Maher alerted me to just how alike DU and Maher's thinking was.

DU has been especially toxic lately, and it's hard sometimes to get a rational discussion going. I've logged out several times over the past few weeks, with the idea of not returning, but here I am. but his misogynist side has always bothered me. However that remark caught me off guard. And it was so "accepted" by everyone.He just breezed right by with it. Very few here inspire me anymore, however, you continue to do so daily.
Take a deep breath...step away for a few days if you must.
Personally, I think that there was some secret group freeper project and they took control.
The things that I have seen here lately make me cringe and are in no way progressive.
