DU is becoming abhorrent to me for so many reasons now days. The Obamaites and their over the top, frenzied rhetoric; the vitriol against anyone who dares question or disagree; and the vulgar posts that appear on the DU home page (can we not have discourse without obscenity laced diatribes?!) have left me ashamed to be a supporting, donating member of DU. If this is what the Democratic Party has become, I want no part of it.

And I will be damned if I am brow beaten into taking a freaking loyalty oath! Not all "Democrats" are created equal. After a lifetime of being an active member of this party, I have the right to say that!

I really think I am done here. I was going to hang on and fight the good fight, but it is becoming increasingly clear this is no longer my party. I don't recognize it as being the Democratic Party that I fought for. I am disgusted with the whole miserable mess.

of very middle of the road, centrist posters...racking up post counts, etc.
Hardly the type of Democrat that would come to a place called "underground".
I questioned why at the time....but now I know why.

obama has co-opted just about every great Democrat's rhetoric and repackaged it as his own. Compare this to "Ask not what your country can do for you but what YOU can do for your country". The guy is a fucking charlatan.
