Anyone voting for John Edwards this Tuesday?
It saddens me that the Edwards Supporters Group has become another place to debate the merits (or lack thereof) of Corporate Candidate A-vs-Corporate Candidate B. Personally, I still feel that neither of them has addressed the issues that John was championing. Sure, they occasionally throw out the word "poverty" but that's about it.

I hold no animosity towards anyone who has chosen another candidate for whatever reason, but I will never believe that a vote for John Edwards is a wasted vote. This is still the primary season. It is the time to choose not only whose name will be on the ballot in November but also whose ideas will be included in the platform. I have no illusions that John Edwards will be our nominee but if we continue to talk about him, support him, and vote for him, we can send a message to the party that our votes will have to be earned.

I strongly encourage anyone voting Tuesday to vote for John Edwards. I think it's important to send a message to the party that there is a block of voters who still feel their voices are not being heard.

1. Already did in Virginia Feb 12
and it did feel good to vote my conscience.

Besides, some Obama supporters here have said it's a wasted vote and/or a vote for Hillary.

Since I'm leaning Sen.Clinton right now, I felt I voted wisely :D

2. I really wish I could vote for John on Tuesday, but I just can't.
Because I already voted for him on Super Tuesday along with 500,000 others!

:kick: Vote for John and the populist/progressive platform his campaign represents!

11. I smiled, too.
I voted for him in Maryland the week after Super Tuesday. I thought it would be depressing but it wasn't. The debates, without John, have been depressing, the race, without John, is depressing, but voting for him felt very good.

12. That's great, Iris.
Don't let anyone convince you that it is a wasted vote. Hundreds of thousands of people have voted for John since he suspended and I don't think that fact has escaped the party's attention. They talk about him more now than they did when he was running.

I'm so glad you got to vote for John today. I wasn't sure you were still going to and I was hoping you would. You worked so hard for him.

Thanks for being our voice in Ohio!

16. Hi back Pamala. When push came to shove, and alone with the ballot, I got a lump in my throat and
voted for him.

I don't know at the end of the day, to what end or purpose, but so be it !!

Best to you and :loveya:

15. I will be voting for John in May here in NC
even though it will be as a write in. The dumb-ass in charge of the Dem party here in NC decided to remove his name from the ballots.

I know my vote will not count as write-in votes are not counted in NC, but I refuse to push a button for any one else. John Edwards is still my choice.

18. I'm writing him in too -
and taking a picture of it...I think I'll post the picture over at the EENR site, it may cause a stir here. But, it's my vote and during the primarys, Edwards earned it, the other two haven't even come close.
