How are you now feeling about JRE's not endorsing?
Are you glad he's done this? Would your opinion change depending on tomorrow's outcome?

1. 1.st answer yes..2nd answer no..i hope he does not endorse.
it would not be fair to those in states that didn't get to vote for him..and i hope people who supported John still vote for him..if he is still on their ballots..he can still pick up delegates.

2. Personally, I'm pleased he hasn't endorsed
Neither one of the candidates have espoused his ideas or talked extensively about the things he held dear--the poor, the elderly, Universal Health Care, helping reverse all the wrongs Bush has done to us.

3. I am glad he hasn't endorsed.
Neither candidate meets the standards set by JRE.

5. I'm fine with it.
Endorsements have no impact on who my vote would go to anyway. I'm perfectly capable of deciding for myself.

6. I'm glad he hasn't endorsed.
Like Greylyn said, neither candidate has really addressed the issues central to John's campaign.

7. I'm glad he hasn't endorsed -
He's staying true to his vision and I think the media has already painted him an opportunist if he were too endorse. I somewhat like the purity of it too.

9. I think he wanted us to make up our own minds....
I'm glad he did that because it made me look deeper into the other two, and still not inspired.

It's a nice place to be considering the "condition" of GD-P right now, I have no dog in this fight.

10. I agree with everyone else, I'm glad Edwards hasn't endorsed.
Let's face it: Both Clinton and Obama are inferior candidates. They are second best at best. Neither is anywhere as progressive as Edwards, and neither really are deserving of his endorsement.

I'm glad he's kept quiet. And I do think there's more going on behind the scenes than we know.

When I think that we could have had John Edwards in the White House, and I see the choices we're likely to end up with, it's very depressing. :(

12. I think one of the best things JRE can do
is to NOT endorse one of the plastic-corporate-puppets.

If he does endorse I will trust that he has made a careful choice for good reasons. But I think he won't do it. He will make his case at the convention best without having endorsed. And who knows what could happen between now and then? The whole world is liable to be up-ended.

13. Happy that he hasn't endorsed. John should stay away from the primary but come out for the GE.
We need John out there in the GE to push the issue of healthcare and the economy (in conjunction with the Iraq war). It will be great to see John again in the GE.

14. If he chose to endorse, it would mean that he agrees
with the positions of Clinton or Obama enough. I don't think he does, so therefore, no endorsement. I'm fine with that, and I'm also fine with him campaigning for whoever the Democratic nominee ends up being. McCain in the WH would be catastrophic.

and not getting one's name dragged down into all the mud-slinging going on right now.

16. very good
Musicians know that the silence between notes is as important as the notes themselves.

If only Gore had been silent just a little longer rather than feeling compelled to strike that "concession" note.

18. Like the first responder, my
answer to the first question is "yes" and to the
second is "no". I don't really see how John can
endorse someone who is so far from his views (that goes for
either one of them). When we have a nominee, I expect John
will support the norminee of the Democratic party, period.
Just my opinion, which in this economy is worth less than 1/2
of 1 cent.

21. Feeling great about it!
I've been hoping that he would not endorse any of the remaining candidates, so am glad that he hasn't done so. If he isn't comfortable backing either of them, then it confirms my feelings as well.

22. From The Time He Suspended My Wishes Have Always Been That
he WOULD NOT endorse either Clinton or Obama. I'm not going to actually "put down" either one of them, but I will say that NEITHER ONE OF THEM have "touched" me in any way! As a very strong Edwards supporter, it's been difficult to see what has happened, but try as I might I haven't been able to muster enough interest to even follow their campaigns.

I realize this isn't what a "good" Democrat should feel, but I also have wondered if I'm still a Democrat anymore. Of maybe I AM a Democrat and many others aren't! I do KNOW what I have been watching this past year has really made my head spin! For some reason it doesn't seem like an election to me, it seems more like some game in Las Vegas! What are the bets, how many chips are on the table and who will make the call. And I've NEVER even been to Las Vegas and have no idea about gambling of any sort. The closest thing I've ever come to gambling is playing Lotto every once in a while!

Am I the only one who feels this weird? Actually, I know I'm not... many of my family & friends are scratching their heads too! I don't feel "good" about what I'm seeing, this much I KNOW!!!

  :dilemma:

And so far, the answer is lacking...

24. Absolutely right, although at this point
after Hillary has won Ohio and TExas but doesnt have the delegate count, I'd like to see John throw his delegates to her.

She seems to have taken his platform to heart and melded it into hers.

30. I'm Sure It Does... But I'm NOT Comfortable With Either One & I STILL Think
neither one deserves his endorsement. I am a little biased though since I've already stated my views about what I feel I'm going to do. Clinton may "talk the talk" but "walking the walk" is more important to me.

Negative campaigning STILL stirs the pot, and I'm SICK of seeing it all over again! I have too many reservations about BOTH of them. It's been "American Idol Time" for way too long. Ever since I heard "Democrats Want To make History" I groaned! The HISTORY that may be made might NOT BE what they expected!

And that's my negative OPINION! Be back in the AM I guess!
