Edwards' Poverty Center contact?

I just found out that 10,000 of us will be descending on New Orleans next March.

It would be a perfect time to set up a weekend rebuilding event either before or after our convention.

If anyone knows how to get in touch with the Edwards' Poverty Center (or whoever is working on their ongoing rebuilding project), please let me know as I want to pass that information along to the event sponsors.

10,000 of my peers -- it is an annual work conference. Since we are going to be in NOLA from Tuesday through Friday, I want to see about getting us hooked up with a rebuilding effort either the weekend before or the weekend after. There are a lot of groups who do this, but I would like to honor Senator Edwards with being the lead if his center so desires.

candidates or the election. It is an annual WORK convention that will be held in NOLA in March of 2009.

Also, you might be interested in a recent report issued by the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law. Edwards spoke about the report (which ranked congressional members on their voting records regarding issues of poverty) at a news conference just a few days ago. One result from the report: Neither Clinton nor Obama were ranked, because they hadn't accumulated enough votes in the past year on poverty issues to earn a ranking. Sad.

lock, stock and kool-aid barrel. Supporting John is great; doing so under the Pepsi banner is absurd. Obama is as far removed from John's politics as is conservative from populist.

Obama is a right wing corporate shill with absolutely nothing beyond smoke and mirrors.

Don't you find it more than coincidental, that the toughest nut to crack by Obama is this support group, excerpt for a few notable exceptions, including you. You don't understand that, right? The answer is simple. We are clear-thinking and immune to rabid hysteria; we LISTEN and realize the rhetoric is empty. We were weaned on a fiery populist's manner of STRAIGHT talk, and can see and hear the crooked, manipulative pleas of the Obama mantra.
