Just finished watching John Edwards on Leno

and seeing and hearing him again was so great, but also painful. It made my heart ache all over again with the loss of him and the loss of what he could have done for America. This wonderful, intelligent man would have been an incredible President.

Listening to him speak about the subjects closest to his heart, poverty, universal health care, helping the middle class...made me miss him even more. Now we are stuck with two people who have drug this election cycle into the dirt...bickering, pointing fingers, arguing, instead of discussing ways to help the poor, the needy, the helpless, and the hopeless.

Leno also happened to mention that McCain has a double digit lead in the polls, no matter which Dem runs against him.

1. Yes, but boy did he shine

Like a star. O8) So far above those two squabblers. Never say never. He is going to stick around and make a difference. And oh it was so good to see him and hear him talk about what's really important. Those two idiots are so pathetic, running the race into the ground with their race vs. gender agendas. Like kids on the playground. And Leno was great. He's far more liberal than people realize. He got Nicki Fincke to do an article about it for the LA Weekly because he was sick of people thinking he wasn't. Love Leno for having him on!

2. I think the single best moment of the debates

highlighted the candidate HE is vs. the candidates THEY are...remember...when they were bickering about stupid shit and he took the high road and started talking about REAL problems that affected us, not just the personality contest between the others?
