my man, the late Professor Cheikh Anta Diop of Senegal - physicist, anthropologist, historian - whose seminal works, to me was the beginning of so-called Afro-centrism, include "Civilization or Barbarism?" and "The African Origin of Civilization: Myth or Reality?" Must-haves in our home libraries, IMHO.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTyMpuTL8OwAnd not to forget Prof. Martin Bernal of Cornell University who spent 20years researching and writing "Black Athena: The Afroasiatic Roots of Classical Civilization." Poor white guy has spent the last 20 years vigorously defending his work - another must-have in our libraries, IMHO.
I just bring these up because, to me, this is the crux of the problem: If we do not know and understand our history and the systematic dissembling of it, we are not going to Ever get far even trying to carve out huge chunks of racism - Start at the beginning and we cannot do it alone, it will take all of us, people of African descent and those of European descent to get Truthcentric.
