DULUTH, Minn. — About 60 members of the Minnesota Air National Guard are back home in Duluth.

Twelve pilots in F-16s and about 50 other Air National Guard members in transport planes returned Tuesday from Iraq.

Members of the 148th Fighter Wing were deployed to Balad Air Base in Iraq for two missions: reconnaissance and providing support for ground troops.

Many members of the 148th have been on other deployments before. The latest deployment began this fall.

A spokeswoman for the 148th says about 200 of the deployed troops will return to Duluth during the next week.
