More than 180 Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 are expected to return home to Ventura County, Calif., on Thursday afternoon after a six-month deployment, Navy officials said Tuesday.

The Port Hueneme-based Seabees were deployed to Afghanistan, Kuwait, Romania and parts of Africa, and helped drill water wells, fix roads, refurbish schools and upgrade military forward operating bases.
