DoD names Campbell soldiers killed by bomb

The Department of Defense says two soldiers, including a 22-year-old from Frisco, Texas, died this week after an explosive device detonated near their vehicle in Afghanistan.

The soldiers, who died Tuesday, were identified as Spc. Peter J. Courcy, of Frisco, and Pfc. Jason R. Watson, 19, of Many, La.

The two were assigned to the 101st Airborne Division based at Fort Campbell, Ky.
