Army investigating death of Richardson soldier

FORT RICHARDSON, Alaska — The Army is investigating the death of a soldier, whose body was found in the motor pool building at Fort Richardson.

The Army says the body of Sgt. Naquan Reinaldo Williams Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y., was discovered Sunday night.

Williams, 32, was a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear specialist assigned to the Anchorage base nearly three years ago.

An autopsy is being performed, and the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command is investigating.
