Police seek missing 82nd paratrooperThe Associated Press

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — North Carolina police are looking for an 82nd Airborne Division paratrooper who has been missing since early Tuesday and for the man who used his debit card later the same day.
Police say 22-year-old Spc. Joseph E. Putnam last was seen at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday at a Bragg Boulevard convenience store in Fayetteville. Police say another man used Putnam’s debit card Tuesday afternoon.
Police say Putnam is 5-foot-10 and weighs 150 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes and is a member of the 4th Brigade Combat Team of the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg. He has a cow skull and the words “Cowboy Up” tattooed on his left shoulder.
