Bragg soldier killed in Afghanistan

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — The Defense Department says a soldier from Pennsylvania has died in Afghanistan.

The department said Saturday that Staff Sgt. Marc J. Small, 29, of Collegeville died Thursday. His unit was attacked at Faramuz with a rocket propelled grenade launcher and weapons fire.

Small was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), at Fort Bragg.
