Wright-Pat airman dead after police standoff

An airman stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, was found dead early Tuesday morning after local police responded to a call of a potential suicide around 8 p.m. Monday, according to local press reports.

The airman was identified by local Ohio authorities as Corey Bradley, 30.

Base officials would not confirm the identity of the airman, but according to data from the Air Force Personnel Center, a Staff Sgt. Corey Bradley was assigned to Wright-Patterson.

Fairmont police responded to a call of a potential suicide at Bradley’s apartment Monday night, according to a police release.

Bradley had been involved in a domestic dispute with his wife earlier in the day, who was being treated at the Wright-Patterson hospital, police said.
