Chet Edwards Steps Up Increase funding VA

2007 Joint Funding Resolution Increases VA Health-care Budget by $3.6 Billion Above 2006 Levels.

This is a promise being kept to Veterans made by Democrats. There may have to be more funding down the line. But its a start.
