Pentagon Propaganda Channel Is Not In Public Interest
I've been a customer of DISH Network for several years. Generally, I'm happy with the service. I nearly fainted, then, when I read the following action alert:

http://www.workingforchange.com/activism/action.cfm?itemid=18530

When will the pimping of the military for political gain end?

Please keep kicked.

1. This is worse
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6915347

"..The Balkans Web site, called Southeast European Times, as well as a second aimed at audiences in North Africa, have no immediately obvious connection to the U.S. government but contain a linked disclaimer that says they are “sponsored by the U.S. European Command.” That is the military organization based in Germany responsible for U.S. forces and military activities in Europe and parts of Africa."

Their goal is to make sure the U.S. message is “more closely reinforced”. They review the stories and make changes like a "headline that originally read, “Croatian Prime Minister Remembers Holocaust Victims,” which European Command changed to “Croatian Prime Minister Remarks on Dangers of Extremism..”

This is why I think the Jeff Gannon story would have been better to focus on him as yet ANOTHER example of this white house using fake news and fake reporters. Propaganda. That's the priority danger.

4. To make matters worse,
They've raised the monthly bill by $3.00, changed the aviation channel to the military channel, and are going to discontinue the dish instant weather.
Does any one know how to set up an old, large style satellite dish to get some of the "free air channels?"
