ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Sarah Palin returned to Alaska to wrap up her national “Going Rogue” book tour in her home state on Sunday.
The former Alaska governor, who gained instant fame with her run last year as the Republican vice presidential candidate, was holding book signings at two Air Force bases. The events are closed to the public.
Palin signed copies of her best-selling memoir, “Going Rogue,” in the afternoon at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage. She was scheduled to sign books at Eielson Air Force Base near Fairbanks in the evening.
The events are the first book signings in Alaska for Palin, who resigned as governor in July, about 17 months before the end of her first term.
Her book, released in November, has sold more than 1 million copies.
