Why is Steve Buyer (R-IN) still on the Veterans Committee?

Steve Buyer was angry about the Bill that would mandate the VA ,DOD as well as the House VA, And Senate VA Committees to work together in the GI Transition process. The Purpose of this Bill is to ensure that the Transition from Active Duty to the VA system is indeed seamless. He is acting like a five year old child. I have my own ideas why he is acting this why. Last years 2007 Budget had pork in it that did not relate to Veterans. One of the Pork was funds to the Citadel in which Buyer was trying to line his own pockets for life after Congress. Which this vet hopes is very soon. Buyer by the way is alumni of the Citadel and will set on the Committee when he leaves.

the DAV midwinter conference he gave a great lying speech about why he hadn't allowed the Veterans organizations to meet with him. He's a lying piece of crap and we need to get rid of him.
