1. So what's the point then of enlisting in the U.S. military?
To protect this fucking brand of "Freedom"? Yeah, right.

2. Military Veterans aren't owed anything...
...other than their GI Bill benefits. Legally.

Morally, damn, folks, those kids deserve jobs, freedom, a fair chance at happiness, and a thanks for your service. They do not deserve a nightstick across their backs for exercising free speech and assembly. I wish sleepless nights and endless bad dreams to those pigs who betrayed their moral debt. "Just following orders", is that your story, cop?

3. To protect shrubs?!
Sounds like the shrubs aren't the only thing covering
something. I am not a war veteran, so perhaps I shouldn't
speak, or maybe we should classify war veterans vs those who
served in the military, but I think those veterans were
stopped for reasons they did not go into in the story. Just
what was it about?

4. Well, letsee.
It was a night raid (1:30AM).

The police surrounded the area they were going to clean out and then moved in (shades of NYPD).

The first person arrested was an Iraq war veteran carrying the American flag. The fuzz tore the American flag out of her hands, threw the flag on the ground and carried her off by the neck.

The next five or six arrests were Veterans For Peace supporters followed by a shitload of 99%ers.

Crap like this should make you think.
