Could we be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel?

1. I don't know about you but

this has been the longest tunnel I have ever walked. I am hoping that is the light.

I don't think he should wait until the Nobel Prize is announced.

I used to think it might, but now I'm of the mind that there is no way he'll announce before the Peace Prize is announced. If he were an announced candidate it would put the selection committee in a very difficult position. I'm hoping for sometime in the second half of October now. After that, I think it's getting to be too late, even for him.

don't you think they would pick way before then?? I guess we could look up the rules. I also think he should do so by Sept, Oct is kind of pushing it time wise...

I think its better if he's in before he knows if he won too, then its not like, I am running because I am so perfect, that way he can't be accused of riding on that.

...assuming he wins would be, in my estimation, "The Mother of all Acceptance Speeches."

but I don't think the award is actually presented until January or something like that -- way too late for an announcement, IMHO.

9. I read that to mean that the ceremony would be at the same time...

...as the announcement. So, they announce the winners, and then make them wait almost 2 months to present the award?

I just checked and the ceremony is December 10.

Considering S. Carolina is probably going to move up their Primary, which might make others follow suit.

I think that's too late. But he could wait until the October 12 announcement.
