Gore to speak at Economic Club of Chicago on October 17

...Al Gore is set to speak Oct. 17 at the Economic Club of Chicago in the Grand Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency.

Just caught this short item in the Gore news feed I get everyday from Gorehub.com. Timing is perfect for a big announcement...could this be the day?

I thought I read somewhere he canceled stuff for the next 6 months??? Was this just out of US stuff??

I was hoping he would announce sooner but he's a smart man and determined not to let the media manipulate him anymore.

6. That story came out of Taiwan

and a portion of it (that Gore was canceling an appearance to run) was denied by Krieder (from Gore's office).

I agree. He will make a decision on his timetable, not the media's.
