Would you guys help promote a strong environmental candidate with a logo in your posts?

I don't know how many of you Gore folks know that I'm working on Nancy Skinner's campaign for the House here in Michigan's 9th district. I worked on her last campaign and despite being outspent 7 to 1 by a 14-year Republican incumbent, she only lost by about 5%. The reason I'm posting this here is that Nancy is a candidate in the mold of Al Gore. He has influenced her entire professional life and she would like nothing more than to see him run, and her platform is in synch with Gore's goals for our country. This time out, Nancy is facing a primary opponent -- a typical, establishment, career politician who is being backed by the DCCC. We need more independent, courageous candidates who will fight for what's right and who will stand up to the establishment when necessary; candidates with a backbone. Nancy is such a candidate.

Rather than go into a lot of detail here about her background, etc., check out her website at www.skinnerforcongress.com and then make up your mind whether you'd be willing to help.

I'd really appreciate it if any of you would put this new fundraising logo in your sig line or just include it in your posts!

I know enough about all three that I don't trust any of them. Will probably vote for either Obama or Edwards. May vote for the one that looks like he is in third place just to keep it a three way tie until the convention.

My brother, who has voted Republican for the past 35 years said that he would vote for Gore in a new york minute if he was running. Asked me this week if I thought there was a chance he could still get in it. Amazing. Gave him Gore's address to write him a note to that effect. Told him it couldn't hurt.
