The Case to Bring Back Al Gore-on the 2nd or 3rd ballot

I was an Al Gore 2008 supporter since 2004, when John Kerry lost to George W. Bush. He proved he could win the popular vote and really the election against one of the toughest opponents in modern history, even after polling behind him since 1997 http://www.cnn.com/... I didn't take a stand on the candidates until December when it became clear he would not enter this zoo of a primary. And come to think of it, he may have made the right decision. Knowing his reputation would be ruined if said the wrong thing against Obama, as has Hillary's been, and knowing better than to take on old bosses like the Clintons, and knowing not to risk losing, he stayed out of the primary fray.

As much as I didn't love the two candidates who were emerging, I went towards Hillary because I think would have been a superb President considering all of her insight. I voted for her. Even after, for a while, after seeing Obama's success, I was beginning to think he may actually have a very good shot in November.
