I keep buying property to keep it from developers. They keep offering me more and more, I just ignore them. My son told me that the day I die, Condo city is going up. I told the lad, not so fast, check my will, it is all going back to the Indians. That is my sincere wish to give the Indians back their land that "we" stole from them. Son, not happy.

34. As soon as Bush was selected, I put my propery in Palm Beach County up for sale

I knew I didn't want to be saddled with a mortgage with him at the helm. If I would have waited another year I could have made at least another 100 grand. So I found property up in North Florida and payed cashed for it. Now it is worth 4 times what I payed for it. Every day, a real estate contacts me for my property, I just ignore them.

I thought the same thing as you did when I started seeing the multiple threads with the same theme. She has a friend, and he is Canadian to boot, which is why I didn't understand his insistance about leaving Gore alone. :shrug:

Didn't hear my alarm and first thing I knew, it was 8:20. I usually leave for work at about that time. Got here about 10. Hubby thought I wanted to sleep in, so he didn't wake me.

Usually, everything runs on automatic pilot. But next month, I was served with Jury Duty in Federal Court in Jacksonville. Has anyone ever done that before? I am on call for the whole month of March and the notice says that I need to be prepared to be sequestered at a moments notice. So I am trying to anticipate any snags that may come up if I am gone and setup payments and payroll for the month.

So I am taking a quick break and checking in. Hey if I get sequestered, am I allowed to bring my laptop? Uh-oh, I can already feel the withdrawals setting in.

I've never been on a jury. I've been called twice -- the first time, at the county level, was the day before we were moving out of state, so I didn't have to go. The next time, which was just district court in the 'burbs, they settled the case before we were seated.

But the day we all came in, all the cases pled out, so we were all dismissed. I have no idea about Federal Court, but should be interesting. They has sent me a questionnaire last year, it was quite extensive and I had forgotten about it. Ooohhh and they pay $40.00 a day, plus mileage, which is good because the court house is about 60 miles from me. I better not quit my day job. LOL

I own a construction company, erosion control and wetland reconstruction.

The actor's new look is for his role in the upcoming film, 'The Bucket List' with MORGAN FREEMAN.
