Did everyone have a wonderful Beltane? |
|
Sunup at the Washington Park Rose Garden brought us the Abbot Bromley horn dance, morris dancers, and a May pole.
Saturday I went to a Beltane celebration and jumped a teeny tiny balefire: Incense in an itty bitty cauldron. It was absolutely lovely. Found a member of the coven hosting the ritual is a former co-worker I've known for 30 years; it was wonderful catching up with her after years of no contact. Small world!

1. I had a good time, mostly by myself. |

That's just the way I've been lately. Beltane has always been my favorite time of the year. I've moved away from Seattle and the holiday has been with my house-mates. We did some small rituals and then enjoyed each others company as one of our members is a long haul trucker. I enjoyed the smallness of these in this time of the year.
