I plan to go with friends from my circle, and expect to see more friends from the local permaculture community. I've never met Starhawk or heard her speak, so I'm looking forward to this a lot. :-)

4. Saw Starhawk yesterday

it was very strange to be part of a ritual with Starhawk in a hotel banquet room. Not the most perfect of surroundings - plus many in the group weren't ready for a ritual at all. (This was a Learning Annex class) But Starhawk was great- if a bit tired and low key - and I really enjoyed the experience.

She is appearing here for free on Thursday night- at The Bodhi Tree in West Hollywood. I may go again.

5. Saw her tonight in San Diego.

Yes, doing ritual with her in a hotel conference room did seem a bit strange at first, but we got over it. There were about 60 people present from all over the county and all but a very few had some level of experience. There was a lot of laughter and a lot of wonderful energy present. Starhawk was wonderful.

Also at this event, we met some people who we plan to see again soon. I've been solitary for too long and now feel that it's time to branch out and connect. We are facing some challenging times ahead and a strong community will be essential.

8. Try coming up to San Francisco for Spiral Dance at Samhain!

That's where you can be in ritual with Starhawk (and other Reclaiming folks, along with 1,000-1,500 participants) in peak form! It's an absolutely awesome experience.
