She's a big download but she prints well on 8.5 X 11 inch white cardstock. She's carrying a sprig of rue and has a basket of mushrooms, too. Rue is the Lithuanian national flower; it's the ancient Lith symbol of purity and worn in a garland by unmarried women during cultural celebrations.
The background of the page was created with permission from some Lithuanian stitchery images of rue found on the web. We have some rue growing in our yard that was grown from seeds that were from plants received from the old country. It's tolerant of drought and hard times. I really like rubbing sprigs between my hands to bring out the pungent fragrance.
