It's not. (Which shows just how little y'all know about religion. nya nya nya)

Years ago the Flying Spaghetti Monster was not as well known as he is today (note: Pastafarianism is currently the fastest growing religion in America). One night after getting sauced, he relized he had to do something drastic to save people from Christianity so he adopted the simple cross as the symbol of the Pastafarians. When some of his followers pointed out the cross was already the symbol of Christianity, FSM responded, "Once Pastafarians begin wearing the cross, it will no longer be possible to tell a Christian from a Pastafarian. When a Pastafarian meets another person wearing the cross, they should greet them as another Pastafarian. Soon even Christians won't know which God the cross represents, and we will have shaken Christainity to the core!"
