irresistibly evokes what I imagine is the train of thoughts of an individual being raped. "If I focus on afterwards, I'll be able to put up with it". "It's in. The worst is behind". "Someone is gonna help". "I'll kill this bastard, I swear". "This is not happening". "At least I'm still alive". "I should have seen this coming". Meanwhile everyone gets the shaft and leaders are taking pictures. I know. This is a little weird. Isn'it?

Both are ways of dealing with trama. We rationalise and do what we have to in order to survive.
