I'm glad I found you guys. The theist-atheist jousting in the other rooms has been depressing me and it's nice to have a little haven of freethought. It's ironic that the group that is free of God should involve the most stimulating soul-searching. And it's interesting that we respond to the current controversies with soul-searching and debate, and the Xians launch into persecution complexes.

But I think we may be getting a better idea of what the answers might be. Its a journey.

A corollary of "there is no phantom leader". What is the answer? If there is supposed to be an answer, what was the question? Political Christianity is such a sham. Why don;t the progressive Christians wake up and protest?

People have a need to close the book, to complete the picture. It's unsettling that there is something unknowable.

They'll settle for a story. But nobody better punch holes in the story.
