Not All Dogs Go To Heaven
For anyone who missed last nights Family Guy:

http://www.fox.com/fod/play.php?sh=familyguy

The show was absolutely hysterical. Brian comes out as an atheist and the whole town freaks out. Definitely worth a watch. Plus it's got most of the cast of Star Trek TNG and also takes shots at Kirk Cameron.

16. Which IMHO, is selling out.
Selling out is trading your beliefs for money, or things, or lets say, booze.

20. Well atheism isn't a belief
There is no "cause" for atheism or any creed or great driving motivation, therefore there is nothing to "sell out" or betray. There is no atheist martyrdom. It would be like being willing to die for the cause of not playing golf.

21. ok....so he lied for booze.
I still think it is selling out but that's just me. If you agree to something you think is false just to get something, its selling out lying whatever. But,alas, it is only a cartoon. No need to arguem. :-)

4. Found it on YouTube! Who are the live action guys who say "we're big Hollywood actors?"
Sounded like Stewie and Brian's dubbers, am I correct?

5. Stewie and Brian are both voiced by Seth McFarlane
Seth Green does Chris and some of the other voices, but neither looked like the guys in the live action sequence. I don't know who they were.

6. That was Adam West (he plays the mayor. He was also Batman on the 60's TV show)
and Rob Lowe.

10. OMG! I totally didn't recognize Adam West's voice in the live action sequence!
I've become that familiar with his animated visage.

Thanks for the info.

9. I thought it was great.
The one thing that made me cringe was when Lois said something to the effect that she hopes Brian can find faith in something to be happy. It reminds me of all the horrible things people do to each other "for their own good." I'm pretty happy without any faith which is something I now consider to be a character flaw rather than a virtue.

14. I think it made up for that with the ending.
'Logic for First Graders' is a threat to God, Brian is still an atheist, and Meg loses her faith.

I'm very happy just to hear about it - perhaps a change in perception is just a little bit closer.

Awesome episode. Even though the atheism scenes were good, the TNG scenes stole the show. I'm still laughing.

25. That's kind of my point...
Brian drinks because he doesn't believe in gawd. If only he had gawd in his life he wouldn't need the booze.

Yeah, I realize that wasn't the point of the story, but it just seemed to point that way for me.
