Hello all I hope everyone is well. I don't have much time to post these days but I have been lurking off and on. I thought you would find this interesting to say the least I snipped out the particularly hyporictial aspect of the people opposed to this man's proposal for opening local government meetings with the Preamble of the US Constitution.

"It didn't seem to be an appropriate thing to be read," said Ward 9 Councilor Robert Logan, who voted against the resolution. "If you read the Constitution from beginning to end it really doesn't mention local government at all. . . . If you wanted to read something from a constitution you'd want to read something from the Massachusetts Constitution."
The council currently recites the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer at its meetings, and holds a moment of silence for soldiers and veterans.
