1. Not really...
I've seen plenty of job ads with similar requirements that the applicant adhere to certain fantasies. They aren't enforceable--to the best of my knowledge, an employer can't legally pry into an employee's private life.

6. I thought religious organizations were exempt from such regulations.

7. You're right
I just looked it up and religious organizations can discriminate in hiring on the basis of their religion. As long as they incorporate for religious purposes, their daily operations are for a religious purpose, and they are a non-profit. So CCU qualifies on at least the first and last provisions and most likely on the second provision as well. Of course, religion is the only exemption they're given under Title VII. I'll have to remember this the next time some indignant believer tells me that us evil secularists are forcing him/her to hire people against their beliefs.

2. BWAHAHAHA!!!...
"4. Mature Christian who is insightful, sensitive, and spiritually discerning in dealing with others."

yes, because nothing says mature like believing in something that is the equivalent of the tooth fairy.

8. I not sure I see the problem other than it seems odd that they would even begin to think
they can dictate the private lives of employees. I would assume that a private religious school would have requirements of faith for employment though.
