It's that word "paraclete." It just cracks me up.

I always want to respond with something like: "Polly want a (communion) cracker?"

Another thread got moved to R/T from GD, in which the poster - strictly IMO - rather pompously demanded that everyone pray with him to some Thing. I put in a short and fairly polite (for me) reminder that there are non-praying people at DU.

That poster also seemed to be in danger of breaking his arm patting himself on the back for his SpeerChuAlity. Complete with the usual references to "Gandhi, Jesus, Confucius" etc.

I thought about posting: "You forgot Stalin..."
