1. Second one I saw could easily happen:

"attacked a NYC deli owner because he served them the wrong type of meat"

Kosher/halal nutters don't have a monopoly on anger management problems.

It's highly unlikely that an atheist would attack a deli owner for that type of mistake BECAUSE of religious dietary rules.

Doesn't matter what the reason is, or the religion or lack of religion involved, that's just douchey behavior.

I'm more likely to repeat-patronize the places I like, to the point where I'm on a first-name basis with the wait-staff. Feels more neighborly that way.

7. I agree, but if I had asked someone

if there were meat in the soup (which we don't know if this happened or not) and after being told no I found bacon in there when I ate it, I'd be very unhappy. Probably wouldn't yell at the server but would express my displeasure.

Truth be told, I have stopped eating soup at restaurants that aren't veg friendly because most servers don't realize that chicken broth as a base makes the soup non-vegetarian.
