I like to avoid flame wars as much a possible, so A/A seems a better place to discuss how fucking sick that whole thing is.

Some of the sentiments expressed:

-Atheists are 3% of the population and it's unconscionable that they have any say or influence in society.
-Prayer in school should be mandatory.
-Secularization of schools leads to societal moral decay.
-If I don't like it, it isn't true.

At least one person on the panel tried to defend us. The others were just nasty but not atypical.
