Why does God hate the Bible Belt?
I'm so tired of the Fundies, every time there is a weather disaster blaming it on some group of people they don't like Gays, Jews,Liberals etc etc. I'd often thought that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones or such...So this map kinda points out how often God punishes them..far more than liberal New England. Even notoriously bad California isn't that close:

2. He's punishing them for our sins.
So they can be just like Jesus.

3. Oddly, that sort of garbage only reaffirms their faith in sky daddy
The worse things get, the more firmly they believe big daddy is gonna swoop down and save their rotten asses at the last minute. The fact that other asses are getting ripped apart doesn't seem to faze them, those people were sinners and didn't believe enough, hallelujah.

I've watched those people close up and they're a real piece of work.

5. He's "testing them"
After all, what better way to "test the faith" of your followers than by killing some of them and destroying their double wides...

6. Bill Hicks had it right.
If Jesus returned for the Second Coming, the last thing he'd want to see is a fucking cross.

That's like going up to Jackie Kennedy Onassis while wearing a rifle pendant, making mock gun-firing gestures, while saying "Just thinking of John, gotta keep that memory alive!"
