I'm taking up a collection for reconstructive surgery.
This isn't for me, but for darkstar3 http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=214&topic_id=280416&mesg_id=280914">should purple dragons fly out of his ass. Now while the chances of this are infinitessimal, I think it's our responsibility as good sentient beings to help someone out should this happen. I can't imagine the cost of such surgery, so just donate generously.

3. He didn't say how big the dragons would be.
Could be like the cute baby one right after it hatched on Hagrid's table. Or if they were Norwegian Ridgebacks which would cause some serious taint tearing. (Yeah, I'm looking forward to the new Potter movie which comes out on my birthday.)

of the null hypothesis. But hey, Stephen Hawking is clearly a scientific fundamentalist atheist who worships at the altar of science. :eyes:

5. Yeah, it really bothered me too, until I realized with horror:
They actually think that God is the null hypothesis. That's what you get from a society steeped in religious training, with barely a dissenting thought in thousands of years. God is the null hypothesis, and their minds literally can't grasp where we are coming from. It's terrifying.

6. You know what made me flip my lid
were the people that stated that the burden of proof was on Hawking. Er what? Do you know anything at all about science, the scientific method and testing a hypothesis? YEESH. Proving a negative is so much fun. I'll just tell my bosses now that its their responsibility to prove that their drug doesn't work.

7. Well apparently, you don't know what the null hypothesis is.
At least according to someone who thinks that it's a positive claim.
