How the ever-living fuck can a majority be persecuted, and how many times can they bitch about it in one night?!

1. Not any majority, either.
A majority that includes most people with economical and political power.

2. Especially on a weekend where so many of them have supported the actual
persecution of someone else (the graduation prayer kid). When I read about the "frenzied attacks" I really thought my head was going to explode.

3. I think it's because when your figurehead told you that you'd be persecuted....
you're pretty much obligated to invent it if necessary. Thus you become "persecuted" if you encounter words in a public forum on the Internet that are anything less than fawning over your special religion. Oh and that also gives you license to act like a complete ass and mock the very values you claim to hold like humility, compassion, and "turning the other cheek."

4. It would be a different story if the minority actually controlled anything
Like white people in South Africa during apartheid who were a small minority that controlled the country politically and economically.

But it's not like that in the good old God-blessed U S of A. The Christian majority controls nearly everything while still making absurd claims of persecution. It's utterly ridiculous.

6. Feelings of persecution are inheirent in Christianity.
Their beliefs make them WANT to feel persecuted.
