History Channel does the Bible again

Survivor's Mark Burnett is making a foray into scripted drama with a 5 part, 10 hour series retelling Bible stories.

So, they've abandoned all pretense of being a "history" channel. This after abandoning the Kennedy documentary for not being historically accurate.

looking to see if something worthwhile watching is coming up on the History Channel, only to find yet another effin' Bible story listed on the program guide, or another search-for-Noah's-Ark type of documentary. Bleh.
