Oh, you have to read the entire ridiculous story! She was arrested for moaning too loud while having sex inside her home!!

EllenBeth Wachs, 48, said her suit against Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, an evangelical Christian, puts her at "ground zero" in the struggle against religious intolerance.

If she prevails in what her lawyer Lawrence Walters sees as "a precedent-setting case," he said it would help ensure that no U.S. citizen is discriminated against or subjected to frivolous criminal charges for expressing a non-religious viewpoint and not believing in God.

"Mr. Judd is actually using law enforcement to basically do a legal lynching of me," Wachs told Reuters in an interview on Tuesday.

She was referring to having been arrested by Judd's deputies three times since March -- what she sees as a campaign of harassment and retaliation against her.

1. She will be speaking at our atheists convention in Broward.
Hey!! I was wondering where you have been. :hi: Good to "see" you.

FLASH is hosting an AA convention next winter. Details TBA. AFAIK, EllenBeth is one of the speakers.

2. Not quite right, "Moaning in a sexual manner" inside her own home
Hell, she might have just been taking a shit after being constipated.

Lakeland was one of the little towns my dad would drive through on his trips down memory lane, telling me not to make eye contact with anybody since it was an invitation to be detained by the Christian Inquisition.

Wachs is correct about the misuse of Judd's office. She will likely have to move instead of getting him discharged. However, it's nice to see this stuff publicized. Lakeland will be getting fewer suckers to retire there.
