3. This strikes me as such a "WTF" moment.
What would keep her from raising her own children in her religion? Is she paranoid about the big bad gubmint making Xianity illegal as we atheists are trying to accomplish? MUAH HA HA HA HA.

More of that nuttery about big, bad Lib'rul schools teaching children science, tolerance of diversity and other ungodly stuff. Her children might be exposed to facts that make them question the nonsense she teaches them. Oh, the humanity!
