These are some of the same people who would never advocate hitting a child, because you should reason with him/her instead. But now they say you can't reason with them, you must lie and tell a false story to help them behave. WTF indeed.

7. The "controlling their behavior" part has parallels, too with the Jesus guy..

for the adults, (or at least they THINK it does).

Remember, they THINK that, without a Jesus and a guy in the sky, they would be out there murdering and raping and stealing.

So it's not that surprising that they think Santa keeps their kids in line for a couple weeks before Christmas.
