I made themistake of posting (elsewhere) that if Christianity is to ever be cleaned up it would have to come from within. By Christians. One of the "real Christians" flew into a rage, claiming I want blood and would love to see them killing each other.

Is there anyone less rational and coherent than the emotion based thinker? Ugh.

Other Christians will use the "they weren't real Christians" line. That's their way of keeping the cognitive dissonance from making their head explode and having to admit that yes, their faith is riddled with people who do evil.
