So...How's business?
Flat to declining for us. December and January (so far) have been our worst since 2001. Fortunately we released some new products that had been in development, but they just helped cover the shortfall rather than creating hoped for growth.

Apparently, all this $ for R & D is stupid when I could have just bought a GOP Congressman for less.

1. My wife's business is WAY down
but then again, so is the industry. My wife makes custom jewelry in the $20-100 range. We were down about 35% last year. Friends of mine in the fine jewelry business said they were ALL down between 20-40% this year.

I just engineered a corporate takeover, so now I am part of the ownership world as well. We are starting well, but time will tell when we launch our new product in the next few weeks.

4. stagnant
like it's been for six solid years.

every good week seems to be instantly followed by a bad one. There is no consistency.

5. Good thing the economy is in great shape isn't it. What a shame.
Yes, bribing repubs seems to be the only way to get ahead anymore.

6. It sucks
And it's sucked ever since Bush got in.
Actually, I noticed a definite change after the election debacle in 2000.
My revenue sinks every year that Bush "governs", and if Jeb gets in I might end up in the poorhouse.

7. Sucked for all of 2005, but it's starting to look up
We do automation engineering, programming and consulting. Last year, all our customers had to offer were low-paying maintainence jobs. Finally, in February and March we started getting some capital projects and things are slowly starting to look up.

Perhaps all those no-bid military contracts are starting to trickle down.
